FELL IN LOVE WITH MEXICO

Recently I had the pleasure to be part of an amazing styled shoot that celebrated all things Mexico. Such a beautiful and well thought out shoot with some of the most exquisite floral arrangements I have seen in a while.

Drawing inspiration from the Frida Kahlo exhibition currently on at the V&A, florist Charlotte of  Charlotte MCauley Flowers went to town with the floral arrangements creating fabulous table decorations, a beautiful bouquet and the most wonderful floral crown. Combining yellows, reds, pinks, oranges and greens with an abundance of textures these beautiful pieces have to be seen to be appreciated but wow, such vibrancy.

The shoot named ‘Fell in Love in Mexico’ was the brain child of Ashleigh of Pink Palm Events shows how to share a couple’s special part of the world with all their wedding guests if they can’t elope. Ashleigh sourced Traditional Mexican touches all within the UK including original mexican tiles, original enamel Mexican plates and traditional Papel Picado.

I was delighted to provide rings for both the bride and groom.

Sergiu wore a simple 9ct yellow gold 3mm hammered band.

Grace had a fabulous combination of rings to highlight the beautiful bright colours used throughout the shoot. My peridot stone set ring is the bright green piece which is nestled inside a 9ct yellow gold, 1.2mm wishbone, which are often made to sit with an engagement ring, just like this. Two more teeny stone set rings in fire opal and ruby complete the look.

Not leaving anything out Ashleigh chose a beautiful bright vegan and gluten free cake by Cupcakes and Shhht.

You can see the entire piece over on Bespoke Bride
