Finishing Touches

All my pieces are made of solid precious metals.

I work in sterling silver, 9ct, 14ct and 18ct gold, palladium and a little bit of platinum. Platinum is a very dense metal, without getting too much into the science I can only create enough heat in my tiny workshop to make quite delicate pieces in this material.

9ct gold is my comfort zone, this is what I work in most often. It’s a really beautiful, hard wearing material that can be quite affordable in comparison to the higher carats.

Most of my designs are about elegant combinations and keeping things simple. Proportions are really crucial to simple styles and I spend a lot of time trying out slightly different combinations to find the ones that really sing.

Hand shaped bands

These simple bands are hand made from sheet metal. They have a soft, oval cross section and are slightly more contemporary than a traditional court or 'D' band whilst still having a soft shape.

I can also leave the edges squarer for a sharper look (as pictured in 9ct yellow gold.)

9ct yellow gold bands are made of 100% recycled eco gold

9ct white gold hammered bands

This elegant ring below, has a round profile and a delicately hammered surface pattern. This is the heaviest halo band I offer, it's a really nice weight if you are looking for something a bit more substantial.

I use a very small round ended hammer to create this delicate texture. The effect gives more of a sparkle to the surface, than an obvious hammered pattern.

A mix of hammered and smooth.

Hand shaped from solid sterling silver. These rings are made from 100% recycled silver. The silver is recovered from various different uses and refined back into silver which is indistinguishable from newly mined material.

Be sure to join me online for lots more designs and do get in touch if you would like to arrange a meeting to try some in person.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead X
